Ridiculous Adolescent Crush of the Moment

Actually, I am not sure how adolescent this crush is.

I mean, Paul Walker is 35, so he's not exactly out of my age range.

Out of my league, my state and my world - yes.

I usually do not like blonde guys, with a rare exception or two.
I am much more fascinated with dark hair and eyes, but in Paul Walker's case...

Come on people. Just look. A formidable exception.

And yes, this is his dog.
A Chesapeake Bay Retriever named 'Boone'

He is single but has a 9 year old daughter from a previous relationship.
He's an voracious surfer, and convieniently lives in Santa Barbara, CA.

He starred in such films as Varsity Blues, She's All That, Pleasantville, Into The Blue, Timeline, Joyride, and the critically acclaimed Eight Below (which I highly recommend!)...
But his claim to fame and his real career starter was, of course, The Fast and the Furious with co-star Vin Diesel.
The two reprise their roles in next year's aptly titled: Fast and Furious. (Brilliant name, eh?)

I just can't help but like this guy.
His smile is infectious, but I actually like the smoldering stare better..
He looks younger than his true age and I actually quite like him as an actor, with my favorite role of his being in Joyride opposite Steve Zahn - those two are a perfect balance.

(And he has a great body, if anybody is interested in that kind of thing exclusively.)

Ridiculous Adolescent Crush of the Moment

Being 40 is sometimes a drag, so I have decided to humor myself and others with my latest 'ridiculous crush' from time to time.

This is Jack Huston.


He's like, only 26.
He is from a very formidable old-school Hollywood family - his grandfather was the renowned director John Huston. His aunt is Angelica Huston.

He has had a few bit roles in some random films, and was the star of the movie Shrooms that I just recently watched.

Also of note, he has a British accent, which is uber-cool. Of course, he is - in fact, British.

I think he looks a tad like a younger Johnny Depp.

Black and white certainly does it for him.
Part Johnny Depp, part Clark Gable, no?


Like Johnny, don't you think?
